On December 6, 1745, Johann was granted 142 acres of land from John Penn,
Thomas Penn, and Richard Penn as noted in Patent Book A, Volume 12, Page 386 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania ( original at Lancaster Co. Historical Society). This land was noted to be along the Charlestown Road, starting about two and ahalf miles from the Millersville Pike and extending to three and three-fourths miles from Washington Boro.
