John lived in Hagerstown and was one of the founders of the old Hagerstown Bank
He was also the mayor of the city

Birth: IGI Film 458205 and Film 1761151, and Film 1903711

David and Magdalena left Maryland for Missouri in 1841. They settled in
Howard County, Missouri, where they purchased land four miles west of Fayette.
At the end of four years he sold out his property, removing to the forks of
Chariton, where he lived for the same length of time, then buying half of
section 31, Keytesville Township.

David's will was probated on 7 Aug 1863.

Joseph, is not mentioned and so is perhaps already deceased. The witnesses of
her will are John Hershey and Isaac Hershey.

Joseph Christian HERSHEY

Joseph bought land in Williamsville, New York, in 1806. He was a collector
and a Constable and had become one of the Justice of the Peace in Niagra Co. in
1814-1821.

It is believed that his wife, Barbara, is the daughter of Peter and Maria
Hershey. This makes her his cousin.
