on 16 May 1811Last Will and Testament of Andrew Hershey in Lancaster Co., Penn, on 22 Mar
1792. This lists John as a son of Andrew.John was a Mennonite minister for a sort time and located with his family near
present-day Harrisburg. By 1791 he had transferred to the United Brethren
Church. In 1793 he moved to Beaver Creek in Washington County, Maryland, where
he continued as a minister in the United Brethren Church. Isaac, John's
brother, also moved to Maryland at this same time along with some of both
families.The obituary of John B. Hershey was published on April 9, 1811 in the Hagerstown Gazette Newspaper.

Will of Isaac probated 8 Feb 1812 in Washington Co., Maryland -Book B, p. 241.
In 1794 Isaac bought a home that was seven miles south of Hagerstown. The
stone house sat on the west side of the railroad tracks just down from the
little flag station called Burtner's, on the Washington County Branch of the B.
& O. railroad. Back of the house on a hill you will see a grove enclosed by an
old stone wall, within which about twenty graves can be traced, eight of which
are properly marked by inscribed stones, mostly of the Hershey family.

Will of Barbara Hershey, Book D(6), p. 591 is dated July 7, 1838. It was
proved on November 19 a845. Those mentioned ar Barbara (John's wife), David
Joseph, grandchild Christian, grandchild son of Isaac, grandson of John and
granddaughter, Barbara Heidt of Andrew.Burial: Washington Co., Maryland Cemetry Records, Volume V. Barbara is buried
in a Graveyard walled in with concrete blocks on a farm, S. E. of Manor Chruch,
near Tilghmanton. This was the farm that she and Isaac lived on.

On April 22, 1795, Peter and Mary sold their land in Lancaster Co.,Pennslyvania to Martin Grieder. This transaction is found in the Lancaster Co.,
Pennslyvania land deeds, 1729-1894, FHL 0021441. This is probably when Andrew
and Mary moved with their family to Canada. In this deed, it names Peter's
father as Andrew and his brother, as Christian. It also states that his wife's
name is Mary and that he is a PhysicianPeter bought lot 9, Twp ll in Williamsvilee, New York on June 13, 1811
Peter's will was signed in 1819 in Erie Co. New York. In this will he named
his children and his wife.Peter was overseer of the poor in Williamsville, New York, but served only 3
months until June 10, 1819, a week before he died.Death: Grave Stone in Williamsville Cemetery, Williamsville, New York
Peter was a Physician and a Surgeon
