Christian and his family lived in Manheim Twp., Lancaster Co., Penn.
1n 1709, Christian was with his mother and father in the Friedelsheim, Germany Congregation. He was 17 years of age at this time.
Esther's will was written on 4 Mar 1768. She divided her estate equally among her children, mentioning by name her sons Abraham and Benjamin. Witnesses to her will were Abraham Neff, Christian Hershey and Benjamin Hershey. (Lancaster Co. Will Y-2-313, 1792, Will of Esther Hershey.)
Abraham Egli was the only known Mennonite named Egli living in the Pfalz at the time period when Esther married Christian Hershey, so it is very likely that Abraham was the father of Esther.

German language newspaper)Benjamin immigrated in 1717 with his family. He lived 1 mile east of Manheim in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He was buried in a graveyard near the old Mennonite Meeting House. He was a Bishop in the Mennonite faith.

Herman is listed as Anna Hersche's husband in wills and land deeds.
Will was dated on 2 June 1773.Herman owned considerable land in Hempfield Twp., Lancaster Co., Penn. They
settled there in 1727.Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, Orphans Court, June 2, 1773. All of Herman's
property is divided by his son Christian Long. It names his children as
Christian, Addah, Ann, Catharine, Maria, Magdalena, Herman, Esther, John,
Barbara, Susannah, and Fronica.
